Russia queueing up as ruble plummets


Our eastern neighbours are desperately trying to convert Russian rubles into dollars, euros or goods.

“You are sleeping, but tomorrow there will be empty shelves in shops,” well-known Russian blogger Illya Varlamov says and adds photos in proof of his statement.

People are sweeping all goods that have not become more expensive yet, eg food, clothes, white goods, computers, TV and video equipment.
