Russia lifts ban on deliveries of Belarusian dairy products


It was reported by belta.by which quoted the Head of the Foreign Trade Department at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus Aliaksaei Bahdanau.

Rosselkhoznadzor took the decision to postpone the ban at the request of the Belarusian side. The official letter, which has received by the Ministry of Agriculture of Belarus, said that the decision to impose temporary restrictions on the supply of dairy products to Russia will be made on the basis of future negotiations between the agencies of the two countries, which will be held in Moscow on December 7-8. The Belarusian side will present Russian colleagues with materials to eliminate the violations found during the inspection of dairy enterprises.

Rosselkhoznadzor planned to introduce temporary restrictions on supplies from the production enterprises “Milkavita”, Rahachou milk factory, Slutsk cheese-making plant, dairy company “Navahrudskiya Dary” and “Smorgon Milk Products” company. Earlier, Russia had no claims against these companies.
