Russian man tries smuggling 60 grams of cocaine over Belarus-Poland border


Brest Customs has opened a criminal case against a citizen of Russia.

He is being charged under Part 2 of Article 328-1 of the Criminal Code of Belarus for trying to transfer especially dangerous narcotic substance through the Belarusian-Polish border.

The Russian man was travelling to Poland as a passenger of Renault through the national customs clearance point “Warsaw Bridge”.

During the customs control, the customs officers found on him two bundles with a suspicious white substance. According to the expert of the State Committee of forensic examinations in the Brest region, this product is a dangerous narcotic substance – cocaine. The total weight of the drug was about 60 grams.

The Russian man was arrested and placed in custody.
