Putin vows to revenge on terrorists who blew up Russian Airbus A321 over Egypt (ENG video)

Putin has promised to punish those who carried out ‘one of the bloodiest crimes’ against Russia.

“Not for the first time, Russia is confronted with barbaric terrorist crimes”, said Putin, urging all Russian security services to find and punish the terrorists, ‘no matter where they are hiding’.

“There is no deadline for our anti-terror campaigns. We will remember all the names of the terrorists. We must find them no matter where they are hiding. We will not only continue the military action in Syria, but also to intensify it so that the criminals will understand that vengeance is inevitable.”

The president also ordered the Ministry of National Defense and armed forces to further deploy the anti-terror action in Syria, and urged the Foreign Ministry to make a request to help them trace the terrorists.

“We will act in accordance with the U.N. Charter’s Article 51, which gives each country the right to self-defense. Everyone who tries to aid the criminals should understand that they will be responsible for giving them shelter,” he said.

Russian A321 plane was blown up by homemade explosive device equivalent up to one kg of TNT, Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) said today. According to FSB chief Alexander Bortnikov, its traces were found in the airliner debris and the passengers’ belongings.

The FSB declared a $50-mln reward for information about those responsible for the plane crash.
