Putin is alive and meeting with the President of Kyrgyzstan


Russian President Vladimir Putin has appeared in public for the first time in ten days.

The Russian leader began talks with Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev at the Constantine Palace in Saint Petersburg,  unian.ua reports citing TASS.

The meeting between the two presidents is held amid rumors of a serious illness and even death of Putin.

As the Kremlin press service reported earlier, “the agenda of talks with President Atambayev includes the key issues of further strengthening the Russian-Kyrgyz cooperation, first of all in trade, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as in the energy sector”.

“We are planning extensive exchange of views on cooperation in the context of the accession of Kyrgyzstan to the Eurasian Economic Union,” noted officials in the Kremlin.

Previously, president of Russia appeared in front of reporters was on March 5. A number of bloggers and media outlets speculated that Putin had died.

The press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, assured that Putin was in good health and there was nothing extraordinary in his schedule.

Later, there appeared another version of the mysterious disappearance of Putin – the Russian president allegedly had a baby.

Russian channel Russia-24 reported on Wednesday, March 13, that Putin met with Almazbek Atambayev, although the meeting was scheduled for March 16.
