Producer of Gefest stoves switches to four-day working week

The information about the switch to the four-day working week was confirmed at the factory.

“This does not mean that we will not pay our employees for the idle days. They get 2/3 of the salary… Seasonal decline in sales of our products is absolutely normal… Summer is the holiday season, people are spending money on vacation, make repairs in the house, go to their dachas and so on. Now is the selling season for cold air conditioners and split systems, but not gas and electric stoves,” explains the chief engineer Ihar Andrasyuk to vb.by.

The company representative rejected the assumption that the transition to a shorter working week has to do with full warehouses. According to Mr Andrasyuk, “approximately the same volumes were in warehouses in the past year,” reports Vecherniy Brest.
