Pro-Putin singer performs song in support of falling Russian ruble

The music video ‘Ruble-Dollar’ has been recently posted on Youtube.

In the video singer Mashani wears a dress made of coins and urges people to “part with foe foreign money, turn the Russian ruble into the universal currency and exchange all U.S. dollars for one state”.

She stresses that this state should not be Alaska, because the U.S. ‘owes it to Russia’ in any case.

Mashani gained notoriety after releasing the Ukrainian-language song ‘My Putin’ in which she thanked the Russian president for the annexation of Crimea. The singer also slammed Western politicians in her song ‘Sanctions’.
