However, it is still unknown how and when the Ukrainian will be released, said her lawyer Mark Feigin.
“There was reached a political agreement between the top officials of Ukraine and Russia to return Savchenko to her homeland. But the details of how and when it will be done remain unclear,” Feigin said in an interview with “Radio Liberty”
According to him, Savchenko and two Russian intelligence service staff be released based on different procedures.
According to Feigin, a statement by Yerofeyev’s lawyer Oksana Sokolovskaya that she doubts the implementation of the agreement on the exchange of Savchenko for Yarofeyev and Alexandrov prevents the exchange process.
