Prime Minister Andrei Kabyakou spoke about average salary of public sector employees.
He made the relevant statement at a meeting of the Council of Ministers.
Andrei Kabyakou said that in 2018 the Belarusian economy is able to provide the average salary of state employees at the level of at least 750-760 BYN ($ 390-395). This amount corresponds to 75-76% of the average wage in the country.
“At the same time, it is necessary to actively implement measures to optimize the structure and introduce reductions in budgetary organizations, increase revenue from extrabudgetary activities,” said the head of government.
