Customs changes the rules of goods importation into the territory of the Customs Union by individuals starting March 10. The relevant information is published on the website of the Belarus State Customs Committee.
Customs officers’ decision is based on their own analysis of the terms of use of various goods.
Thus, once in 3 years an individual may bring in Belarus without payment of duty the following:
Kitchen
Cooker (gas or electric), Kitchen hood, food processor, microwave, oven, refrigerator, freezer, coffee machine, water heater.
Bathroom
Bath, shower, sink to drain the water, washbasin, bidet, toilet, cistern.
Other
Sewing machine, LCD monitor, laptop (notebook), tablet PC, copiers, TV, vacuum cleaner, air conditioning, mower, welder, generator, car wash, baby carriage (depending on the age of the child), motor boat, civil weapons or parts thereof.
1 time in 2 years, you can import without duties:
4 summer tires (or wheels) for cars, motorcycles and scooters – 2 or 3 tires (if with side-car). The same is for the winter tires, including second-hand. 4 wheels for tires. It is necessary to present a document that confirms the ownership of the vehicle.
