'Not ready for holiday season': Yalta residents ask Putin to jail Crimean top officials


Residents of the world-known Crimean city published a video that shows the famous Yalta seafront destroyed and ironically invite tourists to spend their holidays there.

“We ask the top officials and Russia to not to leave them (local authorities) on their current positions but put them in prison, so that other criminals would never have desire to carry the situation to such dire state”, a resident of Yalta says.

The city is not ready to receive tourists in the summer of 2015. the woman says, the footage of the seafront proving her words. Four of five quays are closed as they are in an advanced state of disrepair, she added.

There is a dangerous ecological situation in the city due to the large number of cars, a man stresses.

After Russia annexed Crimea, the overwhelming majority of Belarusians diverted their trips to one of the most popular tourist destinations. But at the exhibition ‘Holiday-2015’, held in Minsk in early April, travel agents predicted returning Belarusian tourists to Crimea.
