‘Normalization of relations’: Belarus-EU Coordination Group to meet in Brussels


The Belarus – EU Сo-ordination Group will meet for the first time in Brussels on April 6–7, the Foreign Ministry reports. The delegation of Belarus led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Alena Kupchyna, will participate in the event.

The issues of energy, environment and human rights are to be discussed at the meeting.

As reported earler, on April 5, Belarusian president Alyaksandr Lukashenka demanded to to continue the policy aimed at full normalization of relations and at advancing cooperation with the European Union in the context of our national interest. At that, the Belarusian leader stressed he does not want any political bias or excessive politics in the processes. His goal is pragmatic elations, he added.
