Moscow to Poles: Want to be our target? It’s up to you!

Russia menaces Warsaw and Bucharest with firing missiles.

Moscow considers elements of a missile defense shield to be installed in Poland and Romania a threat, Yevgeny Lukyanov, Deputy Secretary of Russia’s Security Council, says.

“They’d better think of something else, these Poland and Romania. Deploying elements of a missile defense system, startting systems, which are actually pointed at our strategic nuclear forces, will lead them to trouble. They will immediately become our targets. If they like to be targets due to the U.S. weapon systems – it is their own choice!” Lukyanov stresses.
