Moscow: Average bribe goes up


The average bribe offered in the Russian capital has doubled, the chief of the main department of the Moscow police Anatoliy Yakunin says.

“Considering the bribes exposed by employees of the Moscow Directorate of Interior, its average amount of bribes has nearly doubled and reached 654,000 rubles,” Yakunin said at the board meeting.

In 2015, 9,200 economic crimes were recorded in Moscow, which is 6.9% more than in 2014, the official said.
