China’s leadership is considering the possibility of granting Belarus a loan of $ 1 billion to complete the modernization of its oil refineries.
According to belta.by, this was said by the Chinese leader Xi Jin Ping during a meeting with the head of Belarus in Beijing on May 16
China has the resources to provide assistance to Belarus in this matter, said Xi Jin Ping.
Projects for modernization of Belarusian refineries are complicated, and modernization technologies are owned mainly by European and American companies, thus, the success and effectiveness of the projects depends on the availability of loans, state agency wrote.
The working visit of Alyaksandr Lukashenka to China, where the summit of “One Belt – One Way” was held ended on May 16.
