This is how the anarchist movement reacted to rising prices for housing and communal services (HCS), the “Revolutionary Action” site said.
“The Ministry of Housing is constantly raising prices for public utilities, but we see no improvement of the quality of services. The increase in tariffs is paralleled by the decrease in salaries and higher prices for all spheres of life. Belarusians are constantly told that they underpay for utility services. However, the society’s lack of control for utility services companies makes it possible to regularly raise tariffs. The Housing Minister is not even able to answer the question of what percentage of HUS is covered by Belarusians out of their own pocket,” said the statement at the anarchist website.
