According to the “Rosselkhoznadzor” Head Alexei Alekseyenko, a campaign was launched in Belarus to discredit his ministry, ‘Rambler news service’ informs.
“There was a green light to discreit “Rosselkhoznadzor” so that all products are accepted unconditionally under the provider’s guarantee. In fact, the flow of products from Belarus has increased dramatically, and we have always noticed it. And in other areas as well: when the flow of goods increases, quality always goes down, along with quality control,” said Alekseyenko.
“We are ready to conduct a dialogue on any inconsistency, if it actually exists,” – said the head of the Belarusian Ministry of Agriculture.
According to the director of the Belarus Department of Veterinary and Food Control of the Ministry of Agriculture Alyaksandr Kutsko, there is a negative practice of points of total control of the Belarus-Russia border in certain points, where “Rosselkhoznadzor” is checking Belarusian food products.
“Almost every car is unsealed and inspected, there are cases of unloading the goods on the street, which are later sampled for further laboratory studies,” said Kutsko. According to him, this is contrary to the norms laid down in the agreement on the establishment of the Eurasian Economic Union.
