Information Ministry adds books on Nazi Germany to list of extremist materials


The updated list includes a number of books and publications, videos, communities, and users in VKontakte, Facebook, Twitter, websites and articles.

Among other things, it now includes a series of books of the Russian publishing house “Algorithm” of socio-political and historical nature. Banned are also a number of publications of the “Orthodox Initiative”.

Some publications on Islam, the work of Adolf Hitler’s “Mein Kampf,” a book about him and a number of products with Nazi symbols were also called extremest. In particular, Alan Bullock’s book about Hitler of in 1952. It is the first full biography of Adolf Hitler. The work had an impact on many other authors who studied the life of the Fuhrer.

The list is published on the website of the newspaper “SB”.

Recently, the court found extremism in the FC “Dynamo” song’s lyrics. The song will also be introduced to the national list of extremist materials.
