Military units in Belarus will have CCTV

Belarus Defense Minister Andrei Raukou recently said that military units in Belarus will be equipped with video surveillance systems. In some units CCTV has already been installed.

“Where we repair barracks, we will set up CCTV,” said Raukou.

The Pechy militar unit will get the CCTV system for by the same principle.

Minister Raukou also said that due to the death of conscript Alyaksandr Korzhych, all the officers of the 72nd Joint Training Center in Pechy will pass certification.

“We will check their competency. The people who will not pass the tests, will be subject to relevant decisions: either transfer to other positions, or dismissal from the Armed Forces. But maybe someone will be promoted according to merit,” said Andrei Raukou.
