Freedom Day organizing committee to resubmit application after first official rejection
They will do it on 8 February.
It is stated on the page of the Movement “For Freedom”. The route will remain unchanged, the organizers intend to hold a rally in central Minsk.
“We will insist on a personal meeting with the leadership of Minsk City Executive Committee, which are responsible for making a decision on the rally. This will give us an opportunity to decide on the format of the event, which can satisfy both sides,” said one of the members of the organizing committee, chairman of the Movement “For Freedom” Yury Hubarevich.
The response from an official about the refusal to hold the march was received by one of the applicants, a member of the Movement “For Freedom” Alyaksandr Rusevich.
The reason for the refusal is that the “letter does not contain any application on holding mass events and information that is provided for such applications in accordance with the law of the Republic of Belarus “On Mass Events”.
The rally is scheduled for March 25, the gathering is at 14:00-14:30, the rally will last until 15:30.
