Several sources reported that on Wednesday Yury Chyzh had his measure of restraint changed.

He had been in the KGB jail since March this year. As several independent sources told Tut.by, the businessman had his measure of restraint changed on Wednesday.

“He is out. Yesterday he already went to sauna,” said a source close to Chyzh.

According to another source, Yury Chyzh was released under house arrest and he has six months to return the money he apparently had stolen (in the words of the head of state, it’s $ 12-13 million).

According to another source, the businessman was released on bail.

“Yes, he was released yesterday. We are expecting him at work,” he said.

We were not able to confirm the information about the businessman’s release in the press service of the KGB.

On September 11, Alyaksandr Lukashenka said that the Chyzh case was under control of the head of state.

Yury Chyzh, main owner of the “Triple” group of companies was detained by law enforcement authorities on 11 March. However, in the KGB jail were also 5 persons suspected of tax evasion on a large scale. According to the head of the KGB Valer Vakulchyk, the amount of damage in the criminal case against businessman Yury Chyzh is about $ 12 million.

On August 23 long-term partner of Chyzh, businessman Uladzimir Yapryntsau was released.
