Lukashenka awards Order for Strengthening Peace and Friendship to China’s Xi Jinping

Belarusian president Alyaksandr Lukashenka has decorated China’s leader Xi Jinping with the Order for Strengthening Peace and Friendship after the negotiations in Beijing on Thursday.

The President of China has been honored with this award in recognition of a big contribution to the development of trade, economic, scientific, technological, and humanitarian ties between Belarus and China, significant achievements in the enhancement of friendly relations between the two states, sstate-run news agency BelTA reports.

Lukashenka is paying a state visit to the People’s Republic of China on 28-30 September. The program of the visit includes talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping. About 30 international documents on advancing cooperation in political, economic, and social affairs are expected to be signed.
