Lukashenka urged to stop drug trafficking from Russia

Political analyst Uladzimir Padhol sent an open letter to Lukashenka calling for drug control at the border with Russia.

Padhol supported his suggestions with media data, including from the state, according to which drugs enter Belarus at the border with Russia.

He points out that attempts to bring in drugs are recorded on the western border of Belarus, while the eastern border with Russia is crossed by drug dealers unhindered. In addition, the analyst writes, his conversations with various people revealed the following:

“Those responsible for administration of drug control at the border with Russia, have their share of drug trafficking,” they “want to destroy the youth of Belarus by drugs” and “afraid of threats from oligarchs.”

Uladzimir Padhol says in the letter that the program of the BPF Party, of which he is a friend, has a provision on the establishment of a full-fledged border between Belarus and Russia, including drug control.

“I appeal to you with the hope that by solving this issue, you will think about the fate of your youngest son Kolya and grandchildren, as I think about the fate of my youngest son Mariush and grandchildren,” he said in an open letter.
