Lukashenka set to counter Internet users’ criticism

90% of online reviews about the decisions taken by the head of Belarus are positive and complimentary, Alyaksandr Lukashenka said on Friday.

“The people’s supporting the president is indicative of the need to instill discipline in our ranks. And it will be done immediately,” Lukashenka assured.

However, the president also promised to provide a response to ‘some statements on the Internet’.

“I hear them, I see them, and I will soon reply to them,” he said.

The Belarusian leader has instructed his press service and the presidential administration to collect and sum up Internet users’ opinions.

Do it so that I could answer the people who are trying to take a dig at me and criticise my decisions,” he stressed.

In his opinion, the nation has misinterpreted the recent roasting he gave to the government.

On the last occasion, Alyaksandr Lukashenka responded to Internet users’ questions on April, 10. Then the head of state met with state-run media workers. The meeting was not televised.
