After a long wait, on International Women’s Day Brutto unveiled their new program Double Hot to residents and guests of the Belarusian capital.
The concert program included the best songs from albums Native Land and Underdog, as well as gold hits by Lyapis Trubetskoy band.
When Native Land song was being performed, some spectators started to rise Belarusian white-red-white flags.
The concert was attended by police officers who filmed the concert-goers holding flags, nn.by reports.
At the end of the concert, frontman Syarhei Mikhalok congratulated ‘brave women’ by shouting ‘hip hip hooray’ together with the audience.
Last year, the band presented the new program in the cities of Ukraine, the USA and Europe and finally – in Belarus’s Homiel. In September 2016, approval of the concert was given by the chief ideological work unit of Homiel Oblast Executive Committee. Until that moment Brutto band founded by the well-known Belarusian singer Syarhei Mikhalok had not been allowed to play in Belarus — its fans had to travel to concerts in Lithuania, Poland, or Ukraine.
