Another ‘non-parasite’ rally started today in Minsk at 14:00. The protesters planned a peaceful celebration of Freedom Day. It is an unofficial holiday commemorating the establishment of the first Belarusian nation-state, the Belarusian People’s Republic, on March 25, 1918.

But the Minsk riot police brutally dispersed the march.

According to preliminary information, about 400 people were detained, many were battered.
