Sunday was relatively quiet in Kurapaty. The picket of about 80 people was held at the site.
At 20:00 there was an impromptu screening of documentary film produced by “Belsat” about Kurapaty.
Politician Uladzimir Nyaklyaieu also joined the Kurapaty defenders.
Today, the commission approved the master plan for the construction of a business center in Kurapaty. Members of the Commission ignored the local people who wanted to hold a review of public hearings in the case of Kurapaty construction. The review never took place. Nine Commission members voted in favor of the general plan, one voted against one abstained.

Politicians Alyaksei Yanukevich and Pavel Sevyarynets called for citywide rally near Kurapaty at 18:00 on Friday.
Kurapaty is not just the national memorial to the victims of Stalinist repression, it is a site of historical and cultural heritage. Belarusian Voluntary Society for Protection of Monuments has appealed to the KGB and city authorities with a statement about possible corruption schemes and violations during the construction project design which is interfering with the protected zone.
