An anti-terrorism exercise was held at the nuclear power plant in Astravets on Thursday, the Belarusian Committee for State Security (KGB) reports.
“On April 27, actions to practice responding to potential terrorism-related threats were carried out at the construction site of the Belarusian NPP. Units of the KGB, the Interior Ministry, the State Border Committee, the Emergency Ministry, and other government border participated in the exercise,” the press service says.
The main goal of the exercise was to ensure the state agencies’ readiness to take top-priority and further measures in response to terrorist attacks on the nuclear power plant in Astravets.
