Due to the arrival of the head of state, the communal workers of Hrodna are putting in order the houses destined for demolition.
It is likely that the presidential motorcade will pass along the Gorky Street, since it is there that all the houses, even those that have been abandoned for many years, are being repaired.
The public utilities workers plaster buildings, prepare them for painting, and even install new windows into houses that were decommissioned. At the same time, the internal part of the houses remains in emergency condition, as evidenced by the tables on the back of the buildings, which are not visible from the main street.
The arrival of Lukashenka was originally planned for October 5, but he never arrived in Hrodna. The visit was postponed until October 19, that’s why the utilities set to to prepare the city by Monday.
