Mansions of Belarusian officials and performing artists filmed by drone

TUT.BY films “Drazdy-2” from a bird’s eye view.

‘Vyasninka’ located in the north-west of Minsk was included in the city limits in 1974, but the local people continued to lead a rural way of life. The changes began ten years ago, when the land between wooden houses and the Drazdy reservoir began to be distributed to former officials. Gradually, the land was bought by businessmen, artists and sportsmen. Seven years ago Vyasninka was connected to the natural gas and water supplies.

Gradually, majority of the locals sold their land at good prices and moved to the city.

The most expensive land here is found along the embankment, businessman Alyaksandr Shakutsin, tennis player Victoria Azarenka and senator Marianna Schotkina had their houses built here.

Now Vyasninka is called “Drazdy-2” or “Tsar’s village”.

The video shows what the residence of the singer Anatol Yarmolenka and the former chairman of the National Bank of Nadzeya Yermakova looks like.
