A protest rally against Putin’s regime was held in front of the building of Russia’s Consulate General in New York on September 24.
The event was timed to the Day of Peace celebrated on September, 21. The UN declared it the day of global ceasefire and non-violence.
The protest was initiated by the representatives of the Russian diaspora in the USA.
They were supported by Belarusians and Ukrainians who joined the rally and took their flags.
The participants were chanting: “Putin Is killer”, “To stop Putin is to stop aggression”, “Crimea is Ukraine”, “Putin, hands off Belarus!”
