Female sniper from Belarus slams Russia for non-recognition of ‘Novorossiya’ (videos)

Natallia Krasouskaya, a former resident of the Belarusian town of Barysau who fought with terrorists in Donbass have come to Russia after spending a month in Chechnya.

Although Russian media reported she had been killed in mid September Natallia arrived in Moscow and made a speech at a rally in support of the so-called Republic of Novorossiya on October, 18.

On Monday Youtube user Andrey Krasnoschekov posted a 20-minute video on which Ms Krasouskaya tells about her experience, Novorossiya and the issue of peace and war.

“Peace slogans are good but if we want peace, two sides should simultaneously lay arms down, but it will never happen. That’s why working for utopia [peace slogans] is wasting time,” she said speaking at the rally.

“As for Russia’s recognition of Novorossiya … When I joined the group in May, there were two flags – Russia’s and Novorossiya’s. Should our boys who are already dead have ripped the Russian flag away??? They trusted Russia <…> They relied on Russia, they believed that Russia would be with us, provide help and support, recognise us,” she said bitterly. “I’ll see what will happen next ”.

After her speech the patch applause was heard and participants started to shout “Let’s recognise Novorossiya!”

At that, Ms Krasouskaya told the filmmaker that she was sick of these guys, because they are nothing but ‘couch warriors’.

The woman revealed that in Moscow she didn’t have any place to dwell in or money to live on. If what is said by her is true, it may also be concluded that Krasouskaya was repeatedly questioned by Russian Federal security service officers.

Natallia Krasouskaya declares she used to live in the Belarusian town of Barysau before she decided to fight against the Ukrainian army.

‘I came here because sometimes standstill is worse than action. I was sick and tired of backing the militia via the Internet, on Facebook and Vkontakte. I arrived in Ukraine on May, 5. On May, 7 I came to Sloviansk. I was born and raised in Belarus. Before my arrival at Sloviansk I had lived in Belarus, Minsk region, the town of Barysau, Trusau Street. I am not afraid to show my face and passport: I will go to Belarus only after all the border crossing checkpoints are seized by the militia. <…> I would like to say hello to my father. When I return we will drink vodka with him as two grits. I would like to say hello to my mother and ask her to understand me. I would like to say hello to residents of Barysau and say: “Here I am!” I would like to say hello to Batska [Father] Ryhoravich [Belarusian President Aliaksandr R. Lukashenka] and tell him: “Batska, your citizens are on this side. Just in case, I want you to know it, Ryhoravich.” Girls, boys, nobody sent us, we just came here of our own free will,’ Natallia told Russian newspaperKomsomolskaya Pravda in June, 2014.
