Over its thousand-year history the Ukrainians have never killed and slaughtered each other, Viktor Yushchenko, a former Ukrainian President, told Belsat TV.
The war in Donbas is not an internal affair of Ukraine; it was brought into the country from outside, Yushchenko stressed.
“As I see it, this is not a Russo-Ukrainian conflict, this is the conflict between Russia and the whole world. What is being done on Ukraine’s lands, in the east of Ukraine now is the war between two political systems of life and world order – between the Western European concept and the autocratic Asian one,” he said.
