Donetsk Zasyadki mine explodes: about 30 people suffocate or burn under the rubble

According to unconfirmed reports, about 50 people still cannot get to the surface.

According to the Ministry of Emergencies of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic, the tragedy killed one person, injured 11.

“What’s with our family members? No one says anything. They all died? Please, tell me!” yells wife of one of the miners at the entrance to the mine.

DPR representatives do not allow rescue teams into the scene. The Ukrainian government appealed to Russia to let 60 rescuers into the mine,  unian.net reports.

In November 2007, the Zasyadki mine was where the biggest disaster in the history of Donbass happened – it killed 101 miners.
