On Wednesday morning the militants of the unrecognised Donetsk People’s Republic hit a shuttle bus with a volley of fire. Six persons were killed and one injured, the press service of Donetsk regional state administration said.
“At 10:00, today a rocket system of Donetsk People’s Republic hit a shuttle van No. 17, which was running from the Myrny residential district to Schehlivka bus station. Six people died, one was injured,” a report reads.
According to the city administration, separatists also shelled school No. 57 inDonetsk on Wednesday, killing four people and injuring eight.
An artillery shell fell about five meters from the school in the Kyivsky district of Donetsk.
About 70 schoolchildren and 28 teachers were inside the school building at the time of the incident, and were rushed to a shelter in the building’s basement, the city council said. The shockwave damaged some windows and doors in the school.
