Dashuk, Kutsila, Lobach, Bazhko: 'Listapad' to feature 'Belsat' films


Minsk International Film Festival has announced the program of the national competition.

The Belarusian contest of the 23rd Minsk International Film Festival consists of 10 feature films, 5 animations and 9 documentaries. Among the latter are the films made with support of our channel — “Kreva Castle” by Volha Dashuk, “25” by Andrei Kutsila, “Druya” by Illya Bazhko.

The festival also will show the film “Belarusian Songs: Tradition of Distance” associated with our channel director Artsyom Lobach. It will be shown in the “Belarusian Panarama” program (outside of competition).

This year, “Listapad” will be held on November 4-11. The competion program, apart from the Belarusian section, has four more: fiction and documentary films, as well as films for children and youth.

The festival will be closed by the last film by Andrzej Wajda called “Afterimage”, put forward by Poland to “Oscar”. The screening will take place in “Moscow” cinema on 11 November.
