Citizen of Belarus injured in St.Petersburg subway blast


A citizen of Belarus was injured in a terror attack in St. Petersburg metro, the Foreign Ministry says.

The casualty underwent a surgery; there is no threat to his life now. His condition is moderately severe.

Dozens of people were injured in the explosion between two underground stations on Monday afternoon.

The death toll was raised from 11 to 14 on Tuesday morning after three people died in hospital. 51 persons are under medical care, Russia’s Emergency Situations Ministry reports.

After the terror attack, two men were put on the wanted list. At that, according to unconfirmed reports, a suicide bomber could have committed the attack.

The man suspected of killing 14 people by bombing the train is a native of Kyrgyzstan who obtained Russian citizenship, the Kyrgyz security service says.
