The 7-year-old boy was feeling bored at home after his Mother went out for 15 minutes, locking him in the apartment. The child wanted to go out for a walk.
The incident occurred in the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana. The boy got dressed, went out to the balcony, cut out mosquito nets with a knife and wanted to go down, but hung on the railing.
The local cafe visitors were the first to see him. According to eyewitnesses, the boy hung there for 20 minutes.
People pulled a blanket and wanted to catch the child, when his neighbor looked out the window and saw the boy.
While the boy was hanging there, the man crawled out of the window to the waist, stretched out his arms and tried to calm him down. Fifteen seconds later, Artyom Karayev caught him.
Artyom Karaev said that the boy was calm and did not cry. But his mother, who was watching the son from below, collapsed.
