Russia’s market is experiencing a shortage of foreign-made cars, newspaper Vedomosti reports with a reference to dealer firms. Retailers are halting car supplies to dealers, which results in termination of sales to the public. According to analytical agency Autosat, since early December 23 car producers have upped prices.

On December, 19 Jaguar Land Rover is to suspend supplies to Russia until the prices for their production are altered. It is to be recalled that Land Rover office has already adjusted prices by 15 % in November.

For the last months a number Belarusians buying cars from Russian car dealership has risen sharply. In late November several dealers admitted that it had increased tenfold. Even swindlers selling stolen cars to our nationals appeared in the neighbouring country, inresponse, the Belarusian Ministry of Interior issued a number of anti-fraud recommendations.
