Ashwood Creative, a Belarusian-based digital marketing agency, has published a statistical analysis of the dynamics of changes in the rankings of Belarusian Facebook profiles’ popularity. Studying the recent data, the agency took into account the increase in the number of page likes.
There are three subratings In the category Media:
MEDIA Top 30 in terms of the number of page likes
MEDIA Top 20 in terms of the growth in the number of FB fans in December 2016
MEDIA Top 20 in terms of the average monthly growth in the number of fans over the last six months
In each subrating, the Belarusian-language Facebook page of Belsat TV ranked 4th with 23,375 likes. Last December, the profile page gained 728 new fans; within six months, the average monthly increase in the number of fans amounted to 1,130. On that score, Belsat has been ahead of the newspaper Nasha Niva, Euroradio, as well as the Belarusian state-run media outlets.
At the moment, Belsat TV has social media profiles in four languages, i.e. on Facebook, Twitter, Vkontakte, Odnoklassniki.
On Facebook we are present in three languages: Belarusian, Russian and Polish. Unfortunately, our English-language account was blocked by Facebook administrators. But Belsat in English does do well on Twitter (nearly 4,000 followers).
Our YouTube channel that offers a wide choice of films and videos viewed by hundreds of thousands of users is the most popular in Belarus (for example, 4 mln persons watched a video featuring clashes and shootings in Kyiv).
