Belarusian fairy-tale: Bisons and early snow (photos)

A Belsat TV journalist has visited a zoo garden and made a photo report on how Belarusian bisons are welcoming the upcoming winter.

The Mahiliou-based zoological garden was founded in 2004. Being located along the Dnieper River, it takes up 124 hectares. There is a walking route and viewing platforms at the garden. Moving along a fenced path and entering view towers, attenders have the opportunity to observe the animals in their natural surroundings.

The zoo has warrens and kennels where bisons, deer, wild boars, moose, wolves, foxes, raccoon dogs and other animals live.
