Belarusian engineers help Ukrainians develop up-to-date Varta armored car


[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Ukraine’s latest model of the armored vehicle can boast of a number of innovative solutions, e.g. a more powerful and fixable engine, heavy-duty Swedish steel, better anti-mineseats, Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said on Facebook.

The vehicle was developed by company ‘Ukrainian Armored Vehicles’ and Belarusian engineers.

By the New Year Ukraine’s the first batch of 10 armored vehicles will have been delivered to Ukraine’s National Guard and National Police.

The vehicle developers took into account recommendations of the military who participated in the anti-terrorist operation in the east of Ukraine. It is the Donbas region where the vehicle will be tested.

When the tests are over, the Defense Minister will decide on whether to buy more armored vehicles made by Ukrainian and Belarusian specialists.
