Belarus bans import of pork from five regions of Russia due to ASF


Based on the instructions of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus, posted on the website of the Department of Veterinary and Food Ministry of Agriculture supervision, the measures cover the products of the Krasnodar, Voronezh, Volgograd, Orel and Moscow regions where new cases of African swine fever were detected.

Additional measures are taken to prevent the import of live pigs, pork, processed products, hunting trophies, and others. Restrictions apply to the importation of feed additives for cats and dogs, feed without heat treatment made of raw materials originating from these regions.

Additional control measures are planned to ensure the biological protection of large pig farms and pig complexes.
