Belarus sets another abysmal record: U.S. dollar nearly reaches Br 16,000

The U.S. dollar has caught up a bid again. Today the currency has been traded at 5,988 Belarusian rubles per dollar on the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

Naturally, the U.S. dollar is even more expensive in currency exchange offices.

Since the beginning of last week, the Belarusian ruble has been devalued against the dollar by 5%.

The exchange rate of the euro is even higher (Br 17, 757).
