Belarus president gives cow as gift to large family

Alyaksandr Lukashenka has made an unusual present to a multi-child family from the village of Yasen (Asipovichy district).

On behalf of the Belarusian leader, Aleh Chykida, Deputy Chairman of Mahliou Region Executive Committee, has presented cow Belka to the Snihir family.

Earlier, Volha Snihir wrote to Lukashenka asking to give her family a cow. The woman focused on the need to provide her kids with fresh milk.

“This is a right and timely request. Children should have a healthy and balanced diet. Getting to know about the family’s need, the president instructed us to lend support to them,” Chykida said.

In addition, the official gave the family a milking machine, a two-tear bunk, a laptop and sweets.
