The present was made as a box filled with C-ration food products: sugar, cereals, tea and others. However, the biscuits turned to have expired a month before.
“Dear officials, I really appreciate your concern for our veterans. I understand that there is underfunding and you are in need. But next time just come empty-handed please. Do not demean themselves…” a grandson of the ex-serviceman said with a sad irony on Facebook.
