Belarus Government Twitter a fake

The Council of Ministers has nothing to do with the account @govby, the press service of the government reports.

“Please be informed that the account  Sovmin.by (@govby – Belsat.eu) has no official relationship to government information website of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus,” said the statement.

The government’s press office also asks to pay attention to the rules of social networks’ use, namely “to thoroughly check the information in the case of citation or retweet.

The government’s press office did not report on the establishment of the official account.
