According to Lukashenka, Belarus’ legislation also takes into account the national electoral rules and traditions.

“We take it for granted and, consequently, keep silent sometimes. However, there is no place for modesty on this issue. We need to talk about it,” he said.

The Belarusian leader wished the course of the election campaign to be properly covered. “There should not be any secrets from anyone,” he added.

As reported earlier, Lukashenka endorsed the idea of holding the election to the House of Representatives of the National Assembly on September 11.
