Belarus and China introduce visa-free regime


The corresponding intergovernmental agreement on mutual visa-free regime for holders of ordinary passports for up to 30 days was signed on June 10 in Qingdao (China), belta.by reports.

The document was the result of negotiations between Belarusian President Alyaksandr Lukashenka and Chinese President Xi Jinping. The Belarusian side was signed by Foreign Minister Uladzimir Makei under the agreement.

“I am convinced that with strong China, Belarus, which is your faithful ally, willl also be strong,” Alyaksandr Lukashenka said during the talks.

The head of the PRC stressed that China is always ready to be a partner and friend to Belarus.

At the moment, Belarus has a visa-free regime for organized tourist groups from China.

On June 9-10, Alyaksandr Lukashenka was in China on a working visit at the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
