According to the National Committee of Statistics, compared with September, the national average wage has grown by 0.7% and reached 6 000 3000 Belarusian rubels (appr. $557). Those who work in construction and financial sector are best-paid while education workers can’t boast of high salaries.
In Russia average earnings in October slided to 32,408 Russian rubles (appr. $724 as of today’s rate). The Russian ruble began to weaken after the West had imposed sanctions on Russia.
